Pemberton Townhouse

Adding a third floor and removing a masonry wall that separated the original house from a later addition signified a pivotal shift in this home’s character and environment. The kitchen moved to the rear of the house and created an open plan on the first floor that accorded space for a large dining area. A new glass door and window increased sunlight throughout and provided easy access to the outdoor patio.

The extended second floor now includes two full size bedrooms and a modern bathroom. The new third floor creates an expansive primary suite with bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom with separate shower including an overhead rain shower and a large bathtub encouraging relaxation and rejuvenation. An open space at the top of the stairs is furnished with a home office large enough for two.

Throughout the home, custom-designed tile patterns serve as artistic statements, infusing each space with character and personality.
